Responsibilities

Public Consulting Group LLC is currently seeking a Lead Operations Analyst (“Analyst”) in our Child Welfare business line to work on the Oregon Department of Human Services- Foster Plus Program (Proctor Care). This project is focused on the following collaborative coordinating activities:  Increase the number of Certified Proctor Homes in Oregon willing and able to serve children with complex needs that are best met in a familial setting; Increase the retention of Certified Proctor Homes in Oregon; Increase utilization within certified Proctor Homes; and create a space that facilitates knowledge sharing, best practices, and resource sharing.

 

The Analyst will serve as a co-project manager to support the day-to-day activities of the project and be a critical point of contact to the client.  The Analyst will work in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment, and will need to be able to work effectively both in teams and independently. The Analyst will be required to pay close attention to detail in his/her daily work while maintaining adherence to internal and external deadlines and abiding by the PMBOK project management principles.

 

An ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent attention to detail, project management experience and organizational skills who is interested in supporting the work of state government and/or human service organizations.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Co-project manage the Foster Care Plus program; work with the lead Project manager to adhere to contractual requirements and project targets.
  • Draft status reports and present findings and recommendations to the client.
  • Facilitate meetings.
  • Ability to lead with an equity framework understanding the existing disproportionality of children and young adults of color in custody.
  • Conduct financial and data analysis using Microsoft
  • Apply federal and OR state laws to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate and present trends, findings, and recommendations to clients.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with the client, colleagues, and collaborative partners.
  • Foster an attitude of information sharing and open discussion among colleagues.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Master’s degree, preferably in social work or public administration
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Project Management Certificate (e.g., PMP)

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $75,000 - $90,000 . In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
