Internal Auditor - MaineCare in Augusta, ME

The Internal Auditor will conduct audits on MaineCare providers who received Workforce Retention and Recruitment funding under ARPA. The providers received funds to help these agencies attract new direct care staff and retain the staff they currently have. There were specific criteria on the use of the funds that was provided to the agencies applying for the funds. The Agencies are required to submit reports by the end of February documenting how the money was used and supporting their compliance with the criteria for the use of the funds. We will be auditing those reports to determine compliance.

The person doing these reviews will follow a standard work program to complete their work. They will report directly to a Deputy Director of the Division of Audit. The work will mostly be done independently.

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: up to $23.67 per hour. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
