Responsibilities

Senior Associate School Threat Assessment

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provides industry knowledge and leadership supporting school safety and threat assessment across one or more products and services
  • Manage complex relationships across client and partner teams
  • Manage and execute large scale implementations
  • Collaborates with internal and client teams to develop and refine safety practices and solutions while also providing guidance to adherence to state standards and legislative requirements
  • Collaborate with the threat assessment team to ensure that established project management processes and structures are appropriately implemented.
  • Provide leadership for teams (both internal and partner) in requirements gathering and interpretation, which may include offering regular review and actionable feedback, both written and verbal.
  • Provide project management to ensure on-time delivery of deliverables by team.
  • Establishes good working relationship with local, state, federal and private service agencies.
  • Provides subject matter expertise on a range of topics relevant to applicant’s background and the project experience (school safety and threat assessment).
  • Leads research, speaking engagements and service offering development.
  • Provide training on threat assessment and school safety related topics and systems.
  • Other tasks as to be determined by PCG management.

Qualifications

Required Skills

 

  • Subject Matter expertise in school safety and threat assessment protocols and practice
  • Strong leadership, assertiveness and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding project management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be tactical in delivering project tasks under tight deadlines, with the ability to keep the big picture in mind at same time from a strategic perspective.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project streams in a cross-functional capacity.
  • Objective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis and resource availability.
  • Self-starter, assertive, enthusiastic and has the political savvy to get things done, yet maintain a likeable presence.
  • Ability to deal with adversity and differing opinions.

Qualifications

 

Education: Master’s degree preferred

Experience: 10+ years’ experience developing, bidding and winning public sector management consulting, or comparable work experience

 

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. 

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $75,257 - $213,000.

In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
