Responsibilities

 

Provider Outreach & Engagement Specialist - Home & Community Based Services in Ohio

  • Independently and collaboratively, works with the public to actively grow the mission of Public Consulting Group’s (PCG) Ohio Home and Community Based (HCBS) Medicaid provider expansion and recruiting project
  • Interface with potential providers for the purposes of offering customer service, building relationships, and developing recruitment opportunities
  • Develops, builds, and maintains relationships with providers, provider network organizations, and ancillary organizations through the promotion of PCG products and services
  • Independently outreach to community organizations and associations to build strong community relationships, secure recruiting leads, ensure participation at informational sessions, and fill the provider enrollment pipeline
  • Works with culturally diverse populations to promote PCG and Ohio Department of Medicaid services
  • Actively participates in community organizations to market and promote Ohio HCBS provider job opportunities
  • Assist in the linkage of waiver individuals in need of services and providers available to fill their needs
  • Conducts informational sessions and attends job fairs to educate potential providers or provider referral sources about the Ohio Home Care Waiver and MyCare Waiver services and opportunities for employment and communicates the features and benefits of PCG provider services
  • Helps to maintain a resource library of ongoing, updated potential contacts for targeted outreach
  • Utilizes technology to communicate with prospective providers and provide both web-based and in-person presentations
  • Proactively sources potential providers through social media, job boards, job fairs, etc
  • Coordinates with the Provider Enrollment team to ensure a smooth transition for potential providers
  • Produces recruitment activity reports
  • Assists with other outreach and education activities and special projects

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

2+ years of experience in home health or other HCBS settings

 

Required Skills 

  • Ability to work with and relate to community members and demonstrate active listening skills
  • Outstanding follow-up skills and ability to work independently while remaining accountable.
  • Must be proficient with MS Teams, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet searching skills to facilitate identifying local community connections
  • Process oriented and results-driven work strategy
  • Ability to foster teamwork with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Exemplary Customer Service relationship techniques, including superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

 

MUST LIVE WITHIN TRAVELLING DISTANCE OF MAJOR OHIO CITIES AND TOWNS

 

Requires travel in and around Ohio, approximately 30-50% of the time

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $55,000 - $65,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
