Responsibilities

EMPLOYMENT COUNSEL

 

 

Overall Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide legal and practical guidance to internal clients, research legal issues, and negotiate agreements.
  • Advise on company policies and promote compliance.
  • Handle sensitive matters including personnel actions and allegations of discrimination.
  • Manage outside counsel in administrative matters and in litigation.
  • Draft and review contracts with clients, teaming partners, subcontractors, vendors, and others.
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned.

Qualifications

     

  • Required Qualifications:

     

    • Specialized knowledge and experience in employment law and contract law.
    • Excellent legal, writing, and interpersonal skills. Law degree and bar membership.
    • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as an attorney.
    • Experience that reflects the diverse responsibilities of the position.

    In-house experience preferred.
