Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • As a scrum master, assist in managing the work of individual Business Analysts, Build Engineers and QA Engineers
  • Ensure that all IT delivery projects adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle process
  • Primary point of contact for technical topics between the client, vendor, and business and HSD teams
  • Responsible to work with the business team and the client in defining the priorities and timelines for each project
  • Responsible for making sure each project is on schedule, on budget, and within scope while keeping the management informed of the status of each project
  • Establish test and acceptance criteria for each project
  • Approve test results and release to production of each project
  • Provide technical expertise in responding to request for proposals (RFP)
  • Provide technical and consultation support to other projects and/or teams that you are not directly responsible for
  • Provide a high level of fiscal responsibility in optimizing cost, providing estimates and tracking expenses
  • Ensure systems operations and performance exceed client requirements and expectations
  • Balance maintenance with development activities to ensure systems are current, stable while incorporating system enhancements

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • In depth technical prowess including software engineering and information technology

Qualifications

Education: Master of computer science, MIS, or related field

Experience: 20+ years in IT management and software engineering Working with large teams (10 or more team members)

Certification: PMP is highly desirable
