Duties Description:

• Under the direction of the Special Advisor the Commissioner of Health on Aging and Long-Term Care, the Sr. Healthcare Program Specialist will:
• Manage the day to day the operations of the Special Needs Assisted Living Demonstration Voucher Program.
• Support the State’s Age Friendly and Health Across all Policies initiatives.
• In addition, research projects in aging and long-term care will be assigned to this position.
• The ability to work as part of high-level team will be expected.

*Employees must follow established work schedules. The usual work schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise specified by the supervisor, this includes a half hour unpaid lunch break. Total work hours must equal 40 hours per week.
