• Assists accounts receivable and revenue recognition team with ensuring accounting is consistent with U.S. GAAP, PCG’s policies, and client contracts
• Ensures proper setup of contracts within accounting system including billing schedules and revenue schedules
• Gather data from practice areas related to customer contract revenue and billing and follow up on any missing or unclear items
• Assists with automating business processes and implementing new tools as needed to manage accounts receivable revenue transactions
• Processes A/R receipts, research and reconcile unposted payments in a timely manner
• Receive physical checks at Boston office to deposit at bank
• Processes invoices into accounting software accurately and efficiently
• Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommend accounting process improvements

Required Skills

• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple activity streams
• Demonstrated ability to manage task load with frequent interruptions
• Ability to maintain integrity and attention to detail at all times
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Systems knowledge and thinking with a continuous desire to learn
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
• Possess discretion to work with confidential information
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and revenue (ASC 606) principles and guidelines

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required

1-2 years of accounting or finance experience; Prior experience with accounts receivable and revenue recognition principles; Experience working with Workday or a similar accounting software
