Manage, design and lead development of complete business solutions.
Act as a technical lead. Coordinate the efforts of the geographically distributed application development and support staff
Contribute to the creation of technical standards and strategic systems architectures by providing expert technical input; ensure new business solutions adhere to the strategic IT direction.
Develop, review and understand technical design documents that meet the business and functional requirements.
Ensure the health and efficiency of an application through code review, code profiling and performance testing analysis
Provide guidance to the technical team responsible for the development, unit/integration testing and implementation of simple to complex business solutions
Design solutions focusing on the reusability of components within the IT organization.
Code and test system components, as necessary.
Resolve ambiguous issues.
Balance very complex business and technical issues to develop effective business/systems solutions.
Oversee the work of geographically distributed technical teams responsible for the development, unit/integration testing and implementation of complex business solutions; ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget and meet quality targets.
Assume the roles of senior advisor and mentor to the more junior members of the organization.
Evaluate Vendor solutions as applicable.
Develop and present cost/benefit analysis of business solutions, including the evaluation of alternative solutions.
Provide off hour systems support.

Excellent knowledge of the company’s business operations, challenges, and issues along with strong understanding of the company’s various businesses.
Excellent technical project management skills. Ability to lead multicultural teams and geographically distributed development projects.
Expert knowledge of structured analysis and design techniques. Includes strong understanding of design and development tools, methodologies and techniques.
Solid knowledge of IT industry trends; ability to influence the introduction of new concepts/technologies when appropriate.
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; Strong interviewing skills.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to drive the implementation of complex business solutions, develop junior staff, delegate structured assignments and monitor the progress of others.
Solid knowledge of IT Security and Data Managaement Practices.
Expert diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong conceptual skills.
Strong ability to exercise flexibility and judgment in a dynamic environment.
Bachelor Degree(preferred CS), Software Engineering or equivalent field. 8+ years of systems experience in a client server, web and/or mainframe environment, with a background in project leading responsibilities.
