Responsibilities

  • Gathers, defines, and drives business requirements development
  • Manages and maintains analytical product drafting documentation
  • Collaborates with cross firm internal clients to develop project requirements and deploy advance business intelligence and analysis products
  • Conducts statistical analysis and research to support the firm’s performance and identify improvement areas
  • Responsible for the management of data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, etc. for all products and related services
  • Collaboration with team members on internal peer reviews of departmental products
  • Conducts “full stack” business intelligence analysis with the support of departmental teammates
  • Analyzes and reviews current processes to assess operational efficiencies
  • Dedication to consistent learning and knowledge sharing with teammates and colleagues

Qualifications

  • T-SQL experience in developing complex queries, joins, and creating tables
  • Experience with data analysis & visualization libraries/packages in R or Python preferred
  • SQL Server (SSMS/SSRS) experience
  • Database administration knowledge and understanding of relational databases required
  • Experience with developing statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms (SVM, logistic regressions, KNN, linear regressions, etc.) required
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
  • Experience with PowerBI, DAX, and M a plus
  • Familiarity with CRISP-DM or TDSP is a plus
  • Insatiable intellectual curiosity

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree preferred, relevant technical certificate or 3+ relevant years’ experience required

    Degrees in data science, computer science, statistics, operations managements/business preferred
