Responsibilities

Role:

PCG is currently seeking a Senior Account Specialist to work in Tennessee and support our Tennessee State-Wide Medicaid service line.  For the right motivated individual, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with us and help special needs students and school districts across the region recover available federal reimbursements.  The Senior Account Specialist works in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a growing team consisting of consulting and operations staff.  Senior Account Specialist role is in PCG's Applied Solutions Group career ladder.

The Senior Account Specialist will specifically support his or her assigned Project Manager/Client Lead in all aspects of project execution. This position revolves around operational functions of our school-based Medicaid implementation and ongoing support services.  

Responsibilities:

The Senior Account Specialist can expect to play an active role in a wide range of work assignments including, but not limited to:

  • Lead the implementation process of new school districts and ongoing operational efforts in areas of provider enrollment
  • Support strategic initiatives designed to grow program enrollment
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external client meetings
  • Serve as back-up contact for Project Manager/Client Lead
  • Analyze reports and system data to monitor program performance and help clients optimize reimbursement
  • Lead customer service and operations for the clients
  • Lead client trainings and professional development
  • Learn/Understand school-based Medicaid policy, remain up to date on any changes, and discuss policy implications with clients
  • Work with a team to accomplish other duties on projects to meet deadlines
  • Once trained and established, this individual will be expected to develop relationships with their projects’ clients. The ideal candidate is personable, proactive in anticipating client needs, enjoys meeting clients in person, and feels a sense of duty to follow-up with client requests and maintain client satisfaction.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Excellent client management and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data.
  • Excellent organizational, oral presentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time to meet critical deadlines for several ongoing projects.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Database skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Required Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 + years similar work experience

 

Differentiating Experience

  • Consulting experience
  • Leading school-based Medicaid projects
  • Working with Tennessee Health Care Authority
