Responsibilities

We are seeking a Change Management and Communications Specialist to help implement change management, stakeholder outreach, and communications activities for large-scale systems transformation projects in the Health and Human Services sector. The Change Management and Communications Specialist will work with project staff (project management, training, customer service, and implementation teams) and client staff and stakeholders to implement an effective, results-driven change management process. This position requires creative thinking as well as a keen technical eye and excellent communications skills. Experience with government agencies and/or human services organizations is preferred but not essential.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and implement organizational change management plans and stakeholder outreach plans and strategies
  • Prepare and deliver stakeholder communications collateral
  • Coordinate project-related correspondence, surveys, and results, and report to management as appropriate
  • Develop materials to guide the change management process
  • Write, review, and edit client-related deliverables such as reports, transition plans, etc.
  • Assist training team with the development, review, and delivery of training materials
  • Complete additional tasks related to communication and change management as deemed necessary

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Experience implementing an organizational change management plan from inception to completion
  • Strong creative, strategic, and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills (creative copy and technical)
  • Ability to work with colleagues and clients in virtual videoconferencing settings, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with online survey tools
  • Experience with publishing software such as Adobe InDesign (preferred)

Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience, including at least two years working in a communication or change management-specific role
  • Prosci® Change Management Practitioner certification or equivalent (preferred)
  • Knowledge or experience with health and human services organizations and/or government agencies, particularly Early Intervention programs (preferred)
  • Knowledge or experience with IT implementations (preferred)
