PCG Education™ is currently seeking a Project Manager to support operations for its Online Professional Learning (OPL) business line. As a Project Manager, you will provide comprehensive project support of day-to-day operational tasks by addressing both client facing and internal team needs. This role will have a particular focus on equity-based school district programs; strong background supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and/or initiatives is preferred.   • Support the execution of day-to-day operational tasks, addressing both client facing and internal team needs
  • Play a lead role in organizing and executing new client implementation tasks, activities, and deadlines
  • Develop, manage, and communicate a detailed project schedule and work plan with assigned tasks for internal stakeholders
  • Support business development and lead generation activities with a specific focus on the execution of critical follow-up tasks
  • Support the leadership of a team of contractors, including assigning work and projects, ongoing trainings, and performance evaluations to ensure excellent support of online course participation
  • Assist in the design and delivery of (client facing) online or on-site trainings sessions, course support webinars, and internal coach training
  • Consistently communicate project updates and progress on an ongoing basis to all pertinent stakeholders from initiation to close
  • Anticipate delays or challenges that may occur and communicate how these delays or challenges may impact project’s scope
  • Utilize strategic metrics to measure project performance to isolate areas for improvement
  • Quickly become competent in the content of Pepper™ courses and adept in the utilization of the Learning Experience Platform
  • Work in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environment as part of a professional, client focused team consisting of consulting, coaching staff, and operations staff

After the implementation of a successful project, the Project Manager can expect to focus on:

  • Pepper™ course content updates
  • Post-launch services and data analytics
  • Request for Proposal (RFP) discovery phases, drafts, and submissions



Required Skills:

  • Ability to use sound judgment in completing tasks and to seek guidance from leadership when needed.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently while also integrating well within a team environment. 
  • Positive attitude and demeanor; showing initiative, enthusiasm, and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in MS Office product, MS 365, and virtual meeting platforms.

Required Experience:

  • Master’s degree in education (preferred), or other aligned field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience working with K-12 school district clients and/or educational organizations.
  • Experience with online learning and learning management systems is a plus.
  • Comfortable working online, remotely, and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Experience managing projects through the full life cycle according to an outlined timeline.
  • Highly knowledgeable of current trends in education.
