PCG is currently seeking a Senior Claims Analyst for our Education Practice area within the Revenue Services team.  For the right motivated individual, there is an excellent opportunity to grow with us and help state agencies and school districts across the country recover available federal Medicaid reimbursement for health-related services, and administrative activities.  The Senior Claims Analyst will work in a fast-paced, challenging, and entrepreneurial work environment as part of a growing team consisting of consulting, operations, and development staff. 

The Senior Claims Analyst will work in the Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) business line.  This position focuses on client engagement and operational execution functions.  The Senior Claims Analyst will also assist with business development and efficiency initiatives for the growing MAC business line.  The Senior Claims Analyst will report directly to the national MAC lead. 




  • The Senior Claims Analyst can expect to play an active role in a wide range of work assignments including, but not limited to: 
  • Preparing and submitting MAC claims; 
  • Providing internal and external reporting statics;  
  • Providing client helpdesk support;  
  • Defining, documenting, and improving business processes; 
  • Assisting with quality control projects; 
  • Assisting with preparation of other written reports and materials for clients; 
  • Assisting with the implementation of new projects;  
  • Assisting in administration of random moment time studies; 
  • Training others on the function of analyzing, preparing and submitting claims; 
  • Conducting policy, competitor, and other market research; and  
  • Supporting proposal development teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts and preparing proposal submissions

  • Ability to learn, understand and apply PCG’s MAC solutions; 
  • Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Viso, and Word; and

Bachelor’s Degree is required.  



  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience; 
  • Experience working for K-12 school-district, government agency, or consulting firm in the Medicaid arena is preferred; and   
  • Prior MAC experience is favorable
