Our role as the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget.  We are appointed by states and managed healthcare organizations to better serve more of their residents and members requiring long-term care and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services.

Responsibilities

  • Processing payroll information by calculating, posting, and disbursing payments according to the various payroll schedules
  • Prepares monthly and daily payroll reports
  • Participates in User Acceptance Testing
  • Resolves payroll variances by collecting and analyzing large data sets
  • Monitor, research, resolving and responding to email inbox
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures
  • Support the training of Payroll Operations staff
  • Perform quality audits to ensure the payrolls are accurately processed
  • Unclaimed Property management; research, process payments & report unclaimed property
  • Perform non-payroll transaction reconciliation
  • Create garnishment & voluntary deduction reporting
  • Process garnishment refunds
  • Assist with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
  • Participate in special projects to explore ways to improve the efficiency of department functions
  • Other duties as assigned, including all Payroll Coordinator duties & responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Moderate experience with Microsoft Office 365 toolset, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Concatenate functions), Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Ability to navigate between multiple applications
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, extremely organized, flexible, self-starter
  • Ability to adapt to change in processes, systems etc.
  • Education: Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience:4+ years of accounting, banking or payroll experience required
  • Prior experience working with high volume multi-state payroll a plus
