Overall Responsibilities:

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Lead Training and Curriculum Specialist for the New York Early Intervention Program State Fiscal Agent, and other early intervention projects to serve as a key player in achieving business objectives within our Human Services practice area.


The Lead Training and Curriculum Specialist is expected to design, develop, and deliver curriculum related to but not limited early intervention processes to internal and external stakeholders. This person will assist in all training initiatives for client go-lives and post go-lives.  They will use applications including SnagIT, Salesforce, Articulate, and LMS to deliver training goals.  This person will respond to all training request in a professional, friendly and timely manner; and be expected to be public-service oriented. They will have excellent communication, organization and leadership skills and apply independent judgment.


Specific Responsibilities:

Specifically, the Lead Training and Curriculum Specialist will:

  • Design and deliver training programs with internal and external end-users.
  • Identifies skill or knowledge gaps among all end-users.
  • Develops e-learning training courses.
  • Develops training content in response to identified training needs.
  • Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop curriculum for end-users.
  • Creates and maintains course content, manuals, or other training materials.
  • Assesses the impact of training programs by measuring employee understanding of the subject matter.
  • Initiates and coordinate “just-time” training material.
  • Becomes a subject matter expert on early intervention application and processes including billing and claiming and case management.



Required Skills:

  • Curriculum development experience
  • Strong e-learning curriculum development skills using MS Window, Articulate, SnagIT and other authoring tools
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, clients and customers.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows, Excel, Word, and Salesforce preferred
  • Thorough and unrelenting attention to detail
  • Fluent communication and interpersonal skills with customers, business teams, and technical colleagues
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities


Required Experience:

  • Experience in creating curriculum for end-users.
  • Experience in help desk or call center environment, including application support, performance management and reporting
  • Experience in health & human services
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience in commercial insurance and Medicaid billing experience in service provision and claim billing.
  • Bachelors degree is required
