The Product Manager plays a key role in the development and enhancement of software products for our public sector human services clients. Particularly, the Product Manager will manage PCG’s early intervention (IDEA Part C Infant-Toddler services) software suite of case management, service logging, billing & claiming, provider enrollment, and family portal functionality. The role will be to manage the product direction across individual implementations nationally, working with a combination of project teams, development teams, clients, and user groups and analyzing market trends to develop short-term and long-term roadmaps and development plans for the product.

  • Develop a roadmap and act as a key contributor to a broader business plan for the long-term enhancement and maturation of a health and human services case management, billing and claiming solution
  • Conduct market analysis to understand current and potential competition and technology trends that may impact the long-term viability of the solution
  • Works with clients and technical delivery managers to define business, functional and technical requirements, and then balance those requirements across a portfolio of projects and contractual requirements
  • Oversees the development of solutions meeting these requirements
  • Responsible to understand client projects both on a technical level and on a programmatic level
  • Oversees client relationships, needs, requirements and expectations
  • Defines project scope, schedule, goals and deliverables that support client needs and requirements
  • Manages task execution and scheduling with clients, team members and other stakeholders
  • Coordinates with internal business teams and technical delivery managers to ensure timely and high-quality results
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, project management artifacts, requirements documentation, and client presentations
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plan


Office Setting; Willing to travel 10-20% regularly and up to 50% when needed



Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to independently manage simultaneous projects with multiple deadlines and a high degree of accuracy


A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred


Minimum 5+ years technical project management experience; Minimum 2+ years business-to-government health, human or education services consulting experience; Minimum 2+ years of supervisory and/or management experience


PMP certification, Product Manager certification, or similar qualification preferred
