PCG is currently seeking a Business Analyst. For the right motivated individual, there is an excellent opportunity for career development and advancement. Business Analysts work in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environment as part of a growing team consisting of consulting and operations staff. Projects within our Early Education and Child Care Center of Excellence vary greatly and may include projects such as: survey administration and data analysis, training and curriculum development, strategic planning design,  supporting implementation and operations of Early Intervention support systems, or other related early care and education workforce and policy initiatives.  Business Analysts are vital in achieving business objectives and delivering on contract requirements. Responsibilities include supporting current projects and working with project managers to develop and support new business opportunities in a fast paced and rigorous environment.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Supporting project managers across multiple projects and clients and working with various project teams.
  • Providing daily client and project support either onsite or via phone/email (as project experience and knowledge is gained).
  • Supporting proposal development teams, including writing proposal sections, coordinating efforts and preparing proposal submissions.
  • Developing presentations for and/or attending conferences/seminars.
  • Preparing and presenting written status reports. Supporting the team completing assessment documentation and recommendation reports for clients.
  • Conducting policy and other research to support the project team and assist in preparing information briefs for both internal and client-facing use.
  • Defining, documenting, and improving business processes.
  • Gathering and analyzing a variety of data, including both financial and written policy/procedure information.
  • Learning and performing tasks related to project development and management.

  • Multilingual skills are a plus.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: early education settings such as a private preschool, public preschool, Head Start, or State Funded PreK program; child care settings such as licensed center-based or family child care programs; early intervention services; or other governmental/human services related programming.
  • Proven project management background and experience a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to client sites may be required.
