Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Takes ownership of and coordinates implementation activities, critical work products, project deliverables in collaboration with the project team and in accordance with the project plan and schedule
  • Responsible for the preparation of client- and internal-facing communications including agendas, notes, presentations, and reports
  • Participates actively in internal and external meetings
  • Acts as liaison between internal teams regarding implementation activities and the software development lifecycle
  • Researches local, state, and federal policy; assists in the definition of related business requirements, and develops expertise in the domain
  • Develops competency in enterprise IT system analysis and software-as-a-service product development.
  • Assists lead product manager with product feedback, requirements gathering, user story creation, product enhancement design, and other execution of product roadmap priorities documentation
  • Comfort with data, willingness to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, desire to and “get to the bottom of it”
  • Other Duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity and a growth-mindset
  • Solid skills in organization, time management, detail-orientation, and quality-checking.
  • Experience and passion for impact in the education, healthcare/wellness, and social service space using digital or SaaS solutions to impact the public sector
  • Ability to recognize and described problems and develop creative solutions
  • Mindset towards process-improvement and dedication to accomplishing goals and resolving challenges presented by clients and management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with orientation towards making connections and building relationships
  • Strong "team player" that can work in a fast-paced project environment and collaborate with a geographically dispersed project team
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to review IT systems and analyze policy and legislation.
  • Basic understanding of core project management activities, functions and deliverables preferred. Bonus: Experience with project and task management tools (Asana, SmartSheet, Trello, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Project, etc.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or commensurate work experience.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience with project coordination in an education, health, or human services related field required

Certification: Bonus for any certifications in project management and/or scrum/agile practices
