PCG Education™ is currently seeking a Senior Consultant to support operations for its Online Professional Learning (OPL) business line. As a Senior Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of projects supporting school districts and state education agencies across the United States, and other K-12-based program needs. This role will have a particular focus on equity-based school district programs; strong background supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion-based programs and/or initiatives is required.

This role will primarily focus on the execution of client success while collaborating on team-wide business development strategies.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain strong client relationships with school districts and education organizations by focusing on timely client support, clear and effective communication, and producing high quality deliverables.
  • Deliver superior online and blended professional learning programs to K-12 districts and related education sectors.
  • Create and implement comprehensive project plans, navigate competing client priorities, and deal with ambiguity.
  • Prepare written status reports for clients and present in meetings.
  • Create detailed project work plans that accurately describe the tasks, deliverables, and due dates for multiple ongoing projects. 
  • Support the execution of day-to-day operational tasks, addressing both client facing and internal team needs.
  • Supports business development and lead generation activities.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and follow-up on sales leads.
  • Effectively manage a coaching team of contractors, including assigning work and projects, ongoing training, and performance evaluation to ensure excellent support of course participants, high satisfaction ratings from clients, and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead the design and delivery of online or on-site coaching and trainings sessions, including course support webinars, and assist in training coaches to present and engage learners.
  • Manage the tracking and monitoring the progress of large groups of online learners’ coursework coached by online coaching team.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of new online and blended professional development programs with school districts and education organizations across the country.
  • Quickly become competent in the content of Pepper™ courses and adept in the utilization of the Learning Experience Platform.
  • Manage relationships with course content partners.
  • Work in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environment as part of a professional, client focused team consisting of consulting, coaching staff, and operations staff.
  • The ideal candidate is personable, proactive in anticipating client needs, and feels a sense of duty to follow-up with client requests and maintain client satisfaction.

PCG will provide the new Senior Consultant with a comprehensive, challenging training plan to ensure:

  • Within first 30 days, understand and articulate PCGs existing clients and available services within OPL and other relevant K-12 programs.  
  • Within 60 days, deeply understand and articulate PCG’s framework for establishing successful client relationships - client expectations, client project details, and client discussions - and PCG’s approach to maintaining client success, as set forth by Supervisors and Managers.
  • Within 90 days, ability to confidently lead existing and prospective client engagements and other team-wide responsibilities and develop, or execute, on existing KPIs related to maintaining client success.  


After the implementation of a successful training plan, the Senior Consultant can expect to focus on project management, client support, coaching team support, and business development including:


  • Oversees and coordinates multiple engagements across the team to ensure client deliverables are met in a timely manner.
  • Provides high quality project management, client and coaching team support.
  • Investigates and analyzes prospective client operational processes, provides recommended solutions, manages implementation, and provides ongoing maintenance and support to clients and online coaching team.
  • Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to improve our services.
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control risks.
  • Assists Supervisor and Manager in aligning the business development strategy with product/service development.
  • Support project growth and marketing initiatives as assigned.
  • Coordinate teams to prepare for written status reports and materials for new clients; present status reports in client meetings.
  • Serve as a primary point of support with new and existing clients, as assigned.
  • Positively contribute to the team, office, region, and firm culture, community, and environment.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as necessary:
    • Prepare and deliver pricing letters/quotes, invoices, and proposals for clients.
    • Lead and/or coordinate proposal writing teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts, and preparing proposal submissions.
    • Assists with special projects as assigned.

  • Enthusiasm for life-long learning and staying well-informed about current business, public policy, and Education issues.
  • Positive attitude and demeanor; showing initiative, enthusiasm, and strong willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products including PowerPoint, Teams, Excel and Word.

 Required Experience

  • Master’s degree in education, or other appropriate field (preferred)
  • 5-7 years of related experience working with K-12 school district clients and/or educational organizations.
  • Experience with online learning and learning management systems is a plus.
  • Comfortable working online, remotely, and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Dependability – consistently meets deadlines.
  • Highly knowledgeable of current trends in education.


Other Requirements: 

  • Travel to client sites (approximately 10-20% as needed) pending COVID-19 restrictions.
