Responsibilities

 

Business Analysts are expected to play a staff role in a wide range of work assignments that may include the following:

 

  • Conducts analysis on processes and data sets for cost allocation and time study clients
  • Prepares and presents parts of written status reports for clients; maintains notes and project documentation in professional manner
  • Develops competency in federal and state policy, specifically federal funding requirements
  • Assists with project phases or tasks as directed by project manager and other senior members of project team
  • Participates on proposal writing teams, including writing and coordinating submissions
  • Assists with research, drafting, and editing of written reports, major deliverables, and other materials for clients
  • Collects, reviews, and enters project related data
  • Supports customer service functions for clients, including phone lines and email inboxes
  • Learns the use and operation of proprietary PCG software products
  • Other support responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications

  • Self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity
  • Enthusiasm for life-long learning and staying well-informed about current industry issues

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to learn new software systems and analyze policy and legislation 
  • Ability to work both in a team situation and autonomously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular PowerPoint and Excel

 

Education/Experience: 

 

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • 2+ plus years of relevant work experience in the fields of Healthcare, Government, or the Consulting field.
