Responsibilities

PCG is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our North Carolina Case Management team, supporting over 60 NC school districts using our proprietary technology solutions. For the right motivated individual, there is an excellent opportunity for career development and advancement. Business Analysts work in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environment as part of a growing team consisting of consulting and operations staff. This position revolves around technology, policy and sales functions. Business Analysts are vital in achieving stated business objectives. Responsibilities include leading current projects and working with project managers to develop new business in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Supporting project managers across multiple projects and clients and working with various project teams.
  • Providing daily client and project support either onsite or via phone/email (as project experience and knowledge is gained).
  • Assist with implementation of new projects or tasks
  • Learning PCG’s web-based technologies and supporting the project team through the customization process, implementation, training, and ongoing operational efforts.
  • Supporting proposal development teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts and preparing proposal submissions.
  • Developing presentations for and attending conferences/seminars.
  • Preparing and presenting written status reports. Supporting the team completing assessment documentation and recommendation reports for clients.
  • Conducting policy and other research to support the project team and assist in preparing information briefs for both internal and client-facing use.
  • Defining, documenting, and improving business processes.
  • Lead/assist in client trainings
  • Learning and performing tasks related to sales and marketing.

  • Ability to recognize issues and identify solutions. Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills. 
  • Solid organization and time management skills. Research and project management capabilities. 
  • Proficient in MS Office products, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

 

Required Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Schools (K-12) and/or special education experience a plus.

 

Other Requirements:

 

  • Travel to client sites required.
