Responsibilities

The Web/Multimedia Designer position supports the marketing department by producing a variety of digital content including video, and animated graphics for use with the company websites, email marketing, banner ads, social media sites, and more.

 

 

Job Functions

  • Capture/edit video footage for use on corporate websites and social media platforms that meet brand specifications.
  • Collaborate with other designers on the team to create content that meets company and client requirements.
  • Performing media edits and encoding files to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintaining and updated company websites via a content management system.
  • Strong organizational, project and time management
  • Experience with graphic design for business
  • Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and implement design direction
  • Ability to collaborate with project teams and clients
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Intermediate understanding of videography and video editing: Adobe Premiere, and After Affects.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS required, some ability with JavaScript libraries preferred.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like Squarespace, and WordPress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a design discipline and 2 to 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational, project and time management skills
  • Experience with graphic design for business
  • Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and implement design direction
  • Ability to collaborate with project teams and clients
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Intermediate understanding of videography and video editing: Adobe Premiere, and After Affects.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS required, some ability with JavaScript libraries preferred.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like Squarespace, and WordPress.
