Summary:

The incumbent, with other staff, will be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing Medicaid payment and coverage policy for a broad range of medical services reimbursed in both fee-for-service as well as Managed Care. Policy areas may include laboratory services, outpatient clinic services, inpatient hospital services, practitioner services, vision, podiatry, radiology, and acupuncture and chiropractic services, and long-term care services. The individual will concentrate on laboratory policy, including the review of laboratory Medicaid enrollment applications, laboratory testing coverage policy, budget planning and implementation, and related Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and HCPCS coding updates.  The individual will work with other DOH divisions and other state agencies to ensure that coverage and payment policy comply with federal and state statute and regulations. This work involves interacting with numerous stakeholders both internal and external to the Department.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of professional experience
• Must be a United States Citizen or a Permanent Resident of the United States in order to be considered

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $55K -$65K. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
