Responsibilities

 

The PCG Legal Department seeks an experienced and talented paralegal, as follows:

 

Paralegal Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the Legal Department intranet site (SharePoint).
  • Provides assistance in litigation and audit matters.
  • Prepares and supports public records requests.
  • Coordinates and drafts responses to subpoenas and garnishment notices.
  • Prepares and maintains spreadsheets and other means of tracking data.
  • Gathers and reviews facts, researcher’s applicable authorities, and prepares analyses as requested.
  • Maintains organized paper and electronic files.
  • Interacts professionally with company management and staff.
  • Handles confidential subject matter and materials appropriately.
  • Other duties in support of the Legal Department as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with basic principles of contract law.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities.
  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff, and with outside parties.

 Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 3+ years of relevant experience
    • Paralegal Certificate preferred
    • Boston area preferred.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $80,000-$99,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
